Ever since its founding in 2009, PSQ has been the leader in the wedding industry of the Philadelphia region. We have almost 15 years of experience in curating custom playlists for our couples. Over the years we’ve played thousands of weddings and other events. We do it because we love performance, and because we love creating lasting memories.

Our love for performance extends to our wishes to record it into eternity. We took the opportunity as our summer slowed down to get inside the studio (a.k.a. our basement) and record some music. We picked some of our favorite pop songs and recorded them in two 6-hour sessions. We recorded the old way – all of us together, single takes, beginning to end. This means we had to like the take, with no possibility of changing small things and patching them into the recording. We wanted to make it sound as real as it really is.

What makes our music stand out is the fact that all four of us are classically trained, but this is no classical record. You might say it’s crossover, because it technically is. But we’d rather say it’s pop, as that is the groove that grooves us. Let’s just say that we heavily rely on our classically crafted skills, with a twist of popping energy.
